Toronto Maple Leafs & Air Canada Centre

When you travel to Canada one thing that you will take notice of and never get away from (especially if you're in Toronto) is the passion that the inhabitants there have for the sport of hockey. Hockey is by far the biggest sport in Canada and also the national sport. So if you have the opportunity, do not hesitate. Go to one of the Leafs home games and you will get an experience that never goes away. You can find Air Canada Centre at 40 Bay Street

Hockey Hall of Fame

The Hockey Hall of Fame is something that you just can't miss if you're a sport interested person and travelling to Toronto. It's located on 30 Yonge Street. Here you can find big portraits of star players like Wayne Gretzky, Maurice Richard and the Swede Börje Salming.

CN Tower & Skydome

The worlds highest detached building is located in Toronto and 301 Font Street West. CN Tower is 353 metres high and also have the worlds biggest rotating restaurant. Since 1989 there have also been a huge sports stadium, built just next to the CN tower. The stadium (Skydome) is home to the famous baseball team Toronto Blue Jays and the football team Toronto Argonauts. It was also until 1999 the home of Toronto Maple Leafs, but they now play in Air Canada Centre (40 Bay Street). Skydome was also the first building in the world with a fully retractable roof, it can open and close within just 20 minutes.
